General conditions for coming with pets
Pets are very welcome at O Viso Ecovillage and they can stay for FREE. We only ask you to read carefully our conditions and that together, we make a good stay for both humans and our furry friends.What do I have to do?
If you want to stay with a pet in our hotel, please send us an email to info@ovisoecovillage.com or call us on + 34 682 61 47 14 before booking to confirm availability. One dog is allowed per apartment/bedroom (not all bedrooms/apartments allow pets).
Can you go to the restaurant?
Dogs may always enter the restaurant in the company of their owners. They must be kept on a leash to avoid incidents with other guests.
What happens if my dog is not yet vaccinated?
All pets wishing to stay at O Viso Ecovillage must have their vaccination records in order.
Dangerous breed dogs too?
The owner of any dog of a breed considered potentially dangerous (Akita Inu, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Dogo de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit bull terrier, Canary Mastiff, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Terrier Staffordshire and Tosa Inu) shall present appropriate documentation proving that he is allowed to keep them.
Can I leave my pet alone?
Pets are not allowed to stay alone in the apartments/bedrooms.
Can my dog run loose?
Dog owners must keep their dog on a lead in our hotel.
Is there food and/or bedding for my dog in O Viso?
Owners must bring their dog's bedding and food.
Will you accept my dog in any condition?
It is very important that dog owners keep their dogs in proper sanitary and hygienic conditions. Pets that are clearly dirty, with parasites, etc. will not be accepted.
Should I pick up after my pet?
Dog owners are obliged to pick up their dog's poo and to keep the apartments/bedrooms in good hygienic conditions.
Can I bathe my pet?
No pets are allowed to be washed in the bathroom.
What happens if my pet damages a facility?
The owner of the dog will be responsible for any damage that the dog may cause in the facilities of the Aldea Ecológica O Viso or to other customers or staff. In case of damage to the facilities, the owner will have to pay the corresponding amount.
What 'utensils' do we not tolerate?
We do not accept aversive collars such as choke chains, slip chains, prong collars and shock collars
What behaviours do we not tolerate?
Any kind of abuse to the dog, whether verbal or physical, will not be allowed. Such behaviour may be reported to the relevant administration and the owner may be expelled from O Viso Ecovillage.
